**Job Duties/Responsibilities will include**:
Examine and replace faulty and old fibre optic cables and also organize scheduled maintenance routines

Take care of fibre splicing and rectify fibre optic problem areas

Execute premises cabling and take care of the underground and underwater cabling requirement

Formulate and maintain system records and system designs

Civils, including trenching soil, tar, cement and reinstatement thereof

Manage a team of splicing technicians and civils labourers

Report daily on progress.

Computer literate & Smart phone literate

Civils - Installing manholes, moving of manholes

Splicing of domes, joints etc

Floating of fibre.

Drivers licence with own reliable vehicle

Good communication skills - Professional - Good client relations skills

Certified splicing tech - CFO

Fibre fault finding

As
- Built file completion

Matric

**Certified Splicing Technician - CFO (Accreditation**: Fibre Optic Association)

Highly experienced in resolving, repairing and installing fibre optic systems, maintenance routines, problem solving and fibre fault finding, formulate and maintain system records and system designs

Reporting, computer and smart phone savvy including managing WhatsApp groups

Able to manage a team of splicing technicians & civil labourers efficiently

Valid driver’s licence

Must be available immediately (no notice applicable)

Clear criminal record

Willing to work overtime when required and be available for standby support
