We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Excel Specialist/Analyst to join our team. This position is specifically tailored for individuals with advanced Excel skills and a strong background in managing and updating tender costings using complex formulas and functions. As an Excel Specialist/Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tendering process by accurately updating and maintaining cost data, analyzing pricing information, and generating reports.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Update and maintain tender costings in Excel spreadsheets on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established formulas and calculations.

2.Utilize advanced Excel functions, including nested formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and macros, to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify pricing information, ensuring its integration into tender costings accurately.

4. Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization, providing valuable insights to decision-makers.

5. Develop and maintain standardized templates and tools for tender costings, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across multiple projects.

6. Generate clear and concise reports, summaries, and visualizations based on analyzed data, aiding in the decision-making process for tender submissions.

7. Regularly update and manage databases and repositories containing tender-related information, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest Excel features, techniques, and best practices, sharing knowledge with colleagues to promote continuous improvement in data management and analysis.

Desired Experience & Qualification
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as finance, accounting, or business administration) or equivalent work experience.

2. Proven experience working with Excel in a professional setting, with advanced skills in formula creation, data manipulation, and complex spreadsheet management.

3. Strong understanding of financial concepts and cost analysis principles, with the ability to interpret and present numerical data effectively.

4. Proficiency in utilizing Excel functions and features, including VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements, pivot tables, data validation, and conditional formatting.

6. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with complex formulas while maintaining data integrity and precision.

7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies in data.

8. Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.

9. Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

10. Knowledge of other data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
