- Engineering equipment is repaired according to agreed standards, specifications and schedules.
- Electrical equipment installations are constructed and maintained according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications.
- Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values

**Minimum requirements**- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
- Section 26 Electrical Trade Certificate / MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board)Trade Certificate through a registered body, e.g.: Olifantsfontein, pre 1994 ESTC (Engineering Skills Training Centre) James Park GFA (Goldfields Training Academy)
- Flame Proof and Gas Testing Certificates (Advantageous)
- Valid First Aid Certificate (Essential, if not available, must obtain at on-boarding)
- Valid Code EB driver's license
- Good English written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum 5 year of mining industry experience (underground and surface)
- Minimum 5 years of trade experience as an Electrician
- Knowledge on the following Sandvik machines; Double Boom Rig (DD421), Roofbolter (DS411)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Ability to do fault-finding from drawings.
- Ability to supervise team and apprentices.
