Dsc Assistant Technican

**Tasks related to this position include but are not limited to**
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance as instructed including, but not limited to machine inspections, and other mechanical duties in support of the rest of the team.
- Duties will also include carrying out various non-specialist electrical and building maintenance tasks.
- Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness
- To inspect the condition of services and proactively deal with callouts/repairs as required
- Attend site emergencies, outside of normal working hours.
- Carry out tasks and at high level, working from platforms and ladders. All access and PPE will be provided
- Keep and maintain all company issued tools in a safe and serviceable manner.
- To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach.
- Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures
- Repair Electrical Systems and act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction
- Troubleshoot Malfunctions of any electrical system must make inspections and assess potential problems, and recommend changes or upgrades to electrical systems to increase productivity and functionality
- To inspect, repair, replace, adjust, install, wire and maintain electrical mechanical equipment
- Initiates and carries out projects to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs
- Ability to use various tools

**Requirements**:
Qualification: N5-N6 Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics

Experience: 0-2 years

**Competency**:

- Previous experience in facilities
- Experience in trouble-shooting, monitoring, and general maintenance and repair
- Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities.
- Aptitudes Good verbal communication skills and good written English skills
- Character Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service.
- Able to make sound decisions when needed.
- A team player, able to work with the team and client’s representatives at all levels.
- Incumbents must have a high level of energy, be self
- starters, confident and stable in manner
- Be flexible in their working patterns.
