Main Business Opportunities:
- In South Africa: 1) Reinforce Olmeca leadership by strengthening brand equity & expanding footprint. 2) Support the launch of Avión in the market. 3) Contribute to the mezcal category developing after the launch of Ojo de Tigre and Del Maguey,- In other SSA Markets: Accelerate Olmeca Tequila growth in the Region: reinforce leadership position to drive category growth and build long term brand equity.- For India: Contribute to the successful launch of Olmeca in the Market, via close collaboration with local Team.- For Middle East Markets: Capture the prestige segment opportunity with Avión (mostly PR Gulf Markets) and support the development of Altos and Del Maguey in the region.- Increase profitability across all brands and Markets.
Job Purpose:
The Market Activation Manager (MAM) will lead the relationship between House Of Tequila (HoT) and Market Companies across the entire Sub-Saharan Africa Region. The MAM will support Market Cos in the definition and implementation of the HoT portfolio strategy within the Region, with the objective to develop the brands and grow the Tequila and potentially Mezcal business.
The MAM will partner with local teams to translate global strategies into effective and efficient marketing plans, coordinating the deployment of global marketing assets in the local markets and validating local initiatives where relevant, across each key HoT brand.
He/she will be the main HoT point of contact for all key Markets in the Region.

Budget responsibility:
Coordinates and administers HoT BOI budget in Markets of responsibility.
Manages ad-hoc HoT additional budgets in relation with specific initiatives (global initiatives like Tahona Society Competition, cross-market digital programs,).
- Key Accountabilities:
Implementation of global marketing strategy for HoT brands- Communicate long term vision and global brand strategies to ensure alignment and integration into local plans.- Challenge and add value to the development of local brand plans.- Ensure alignment of brand activities with global guidelines (as defined by global brand teams); driving commercial success and brand equity building.- Coordinate key work streams across brands to ensure delivery and timely deployment of key initiatives for local markets.- Establish clear annual KPIs with market and monitor performances.- Guide in-market pricing decisions to ensure alignment with global price positioning guidelines.
HoT Portfolio Development & Planning- Partner with local teams to identify and unlock portfolio growth opportunities: contribute to local discussions in resource allocation on HoT brands; identify consumer & commercial opportunities and potential synergies, support local teams in building action plans- Contribute to local discussions on construction of annual budgets for HoT brands, including marketing investment levels and HoT portfolio revenue growth (pricing, promotional effectiveness where applicable, mix improvements)
Business & Asset Development Coordination- Build collaborative and effective relationships with key stakeholders in markets of responsibility through strong knowledge of local markets context and business development mindset.- Lead and manage the agenda, follow-up and key project coordination with HoT teams across the HoT portfolio- Coordinate ad hoc asset development by HoT Mexico-based teams for specific SSA Markets: understand & validate Markets’ needs, monitor project progress- Support & coordinate link with HoT on product changes & new launches (local label changes, paperwork for new product registration,)- Coordinate the HoT - Market Company business interactions, which include regular business reviews, strategic forums and annual budget alignment - Lead role for SSA Markets, Support role (to local Marketing team) on SA Market- Prepare and deliver market strategic reviews & market briefings prior to key market visits and presentations. - Lead role for SSA Markets, Support role (to local Marketing team) on SA Market- Monitor business and brand performances. - Lead role for SSA Markets, Support role (to local Marketing team) on SA Market- IBP (Integrated Business Planning) Broadcast: Lead the dissemination of IBP toolkits to Drive and Feeders Markets during the 3 key launch dates of November, February & June; respond to market questions and requests.

- Academic & Professional Experience required
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Sales / Business Administration
- Proficient and experienced marketeer (6+ years) with successful track record of marketing assets development for international brands
