**About the Role**:
Analytics and Customer Insights is responsible for tracking, compiling and reporting customer research metrics that are derived from multiple data points in order to support business decisions.

This role requires the Intern to compile curated newsletters and contribute to custom reports from multiple customer measurement tools, social media platforms, market research studies and other data channels and organise the data in formats suitable for analysis. The Intern’s primary duties will be focussed on the production of curated newsletters - including tasks such as article selection and contextual qualitative summaries. He/she will be trained on how to perform data analysis using defined tools and techniques in order to deliver insights across various customer segments, genres and media platforms. The work involves data collection, analysis, insight generation and reporting to various departments as required.

Meltwater’s Delivery Services team is responsible for curating bespoke reports and newsletters, as well as managing key projects of our biggest clients. We deliver business-essential intelligence reports based on our best-in-class analyses of various media outlets across traditional online and social media channels.

**Critical Job Responsibilities**:
**Technical & Operational**
- Primary task - delivering daily and weekly curated newsletters.
- Write contextual qualitative summaries based on customer requirements.
- Track deadlines to ensure timely delivery of client deliverables.
- Ensure the quality of work delivered to customers.
- Proofread/edit the reports.
- Check numbers & report findings.
- Ensure the overall formatting and visual consistency of the reports.

**Requirements for the job**:
**Work Experience**
- Entry Level - Talented and ambitious fresh university graduates will be preferred.
- Some relevant industry experience in media insights/reporting & analytics / traditional or social media/media agencies & public relations / digital marketing/marketing & communications is an advantage.

**Education**
- Bachelors degree in any field.
- Mathematics and/or Statistics modules or qualifications, at a university level, are preferred.

**Advantageous Experience and Skills that we look for**:

- Knowledge of SaaS-based media tech and platforms, and media measurement KPIs
- Data visualization and dashboard tools, Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc
- Research methodologies and basic analysis methods
- Statistical modelling and data mining techniques, and analytical tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc [optional]
- Strong analytical aptitude, with proven creative and critical thinking skills.
- Team player mentality with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail.
