We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Executive for our New Business
Team.

As an Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to qualify leads and develop new sales from the South African Automotive Industry. You will play a crucial role in the sales process by identifying potential customers, initiating contact, and creating opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Lead Generation and Qualification**:

- Research and identify potential customers through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
- Utilise prospecting tools and techniques to build a robust pipeline of leads.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage inbound lead generation efforts.

**2. Initial Outreach and Engagement**:

- Reach out to potential clients to initiate contact and gauge interest
(outbound communication)
- Engage prospects in a conversation to understand their challenges and introduce them to the solutions offered by Logimeter.

**3. Scheduling Sales Appointments**:

- After qualifying leads, schedule appointments and demonstrations for potential clients with the sales team.

**4. Maintaining Sales Pipeline**:

- Keep track of all sales leads and follow-ups in the sales pipeline. Ensuring usage of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to document interactions and progress with potential clients.

**5. Collaboration with Sales Team**:

- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads and to align on target markets and sales strategies.

**6. Meeting Sales Targets**:

- Ensure that targets or quotas for the number of leads generated, calls made, meetings scheduled and attended, and number of sales made and revenue achievement.

**7. Market Research, Analysis & Continuous Learning**
- Constantly research market trends, understanding competitor offerings, and identifying new opportunities for sales outreach.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge to effectively communicate value to potential customers.

**8. Feedback and Reporting**:

- Provide feedback from prospects to the sales and marketing teams, which can help in refining sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all interactions with leads in the
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Provide regular reports on lead generation and qualification activities, including key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.

**9. Communication and Relationship Building**:

- Maintain regular communication with leads to nurture relationships and educate them on the value proposition of the products or services.
- Provide information and answer inquiries to create interest and engagement.

**Requirements and skills**:

- At least 3 years+ proven work experience in sales development or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related qualification preferred
- Strong product knowledge. Understanding of lead work flows or marketing background would be advantageous.
- Existing relationships in the South African Automotive Industry advantageous
- Good project management skills
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
- Technical skills required, as they relate to the use of the product or service
- Accountability and personal organisation skills are essential
- A winning/sales driven attitude
- Strong soft skills required - ability to listen and present to clients at various levels
