**Junior Support Technician: Metering B2**

- **Introduction**_

Are you a self-starter? Midstream Electrical Supplies, south of Centurion is seeking a Junior Support Technician with a basic working understanding of electricity.
- **Minimum Requirements**_
- Completed Matric (Grade 12)
- N4 Qualification
- Valid vehicle driver’s license
- Valid motorbike driver’s license (advantage)
- 1 - 2 years previous experience in electric industry
- Knowledge of electricity metering configuration
- Synapses and Google docs skills
- Basic understanding of electricity, specifically to kWh and KVA

- **Job Specification**_
- **Commissioning**o _Residential_
- Complete residential meter commissioning as soon as incident has been received.
- Update Pastel Evolution and Synapses and send residential incident back to administration.
- _**Billing run**_ o _Residential & Commercial_
- Do specific zone manual readings as requested.
- Do maintenance on site if necessary / possible.
- Upload reading on EMS Tech App and upload photo if required.
- **Maintenance**
- Do daily checks for faults per minisub on Synapses.
- Identify reading outstanding longer than two days and plan for maintenance.
- Document maintenance recurring more than three times.
- Draw stock from warehouse and resolve hardware problems.
- Resolve problem in case of communication.
