**Job Advert**:
An exciting and challenging opportunity, based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, has just become available for a **Central Buying Analyst: Systems** within the Ackermans Central Buying Team.

We are looking for a resilient, efficient, and driven individual who can ensure effectiveness of the business operations as identified through buying projects and efficient systems enablement related to buying initiatives.

**Qualifications**:
Essential:

- A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
- A relevant degree /qualification in Fashion, Textile Design /Clothing Production/ Product Development /Merchandising, or a related field

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
**KNOWLEDGE required**:

- Knowledge of the retail merchandise cycle with regards to Buying
- Knowledge of buying principles & strategies
- Merchandise/Retail Systems Knowledge specifically Centric Software

**SKILLS required**:

- Excellent communication at all levels within the company
- Merchant skills & a sound commercial mentality
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Exceptional planning, organizing & time management skills
- Networking skills & the ability to be resourceful
- The ability to:

- be resilient, have tenacity and maintain high levels of drive and initiative under pressure
- prioritise
- be assertive
- work independently, as well as be a team player
- Project Management across business areas
- Build effective relationships

**EXPERIENCE required**:
Essential:

- Retail** **buying experience of at least 3 years in clothing
- Integral understanding of the Clothing Retail Cycle & Product Attributes
- Centric Software user experience

Preferred:

- Merchandise/Retail Systems Knowledge
- Project Management

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate, co-ordinate and develop solutions for strategic company projects.
- Central collation, effective use/implementation and governance of buying-/ systems-/ project-related documentation.
- Look for new developments and refinements to continuously improve systems efficiency.
- Accurate data reporting and analysis of buying systems/ tools/ reports.
- Act as a liaison within the functional areas to facilitate effective change management.
