**_Our client is urgently looking to employ an experienced Site Manager at their organization_**

**_Location: Tigane, North West_**

**_Job Description:_**
- As a Site Manager, you will be tasked with the day-to-day operations of the biogas plant. You will focus on safe working practices and the surrounding legislation and will manage and directly supervise a team of site operators and maintenance operators._

**_Requirements:_**
- _ Educated to qualified fitter or mechanic with red seal or equivalent level._
- _ Minimum 3 years relevant experience managing waste processing activities; ideally Anaerobic Digestion, Biogas, Biomethane, or closely related operations._
- _ Proven people and team leadership skills._
- _ Flexible, positive, and proactive attitude to work._
- _ Solid verbal and written communication skills._

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- _ Working closely with the leadership team you will oversee health and safety, environment, quality and performance, personnel supervision, operational performance, and continuous improvement of the plant._
- _ Overall responsibility for the site and legal compliance._
- _ Oversee all daily operations of the plant ensuring all policies and procedures are correctly followed._
- _ Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity at the plant._
- _ Ensure that all the necessary steps are taken to optimize the plant's performance and product generation._
- _ Recognize trends and anomalies in production data._
- _ Report the waste-to-value plant's production and performance figures to the stakeholders._
- _ Maintain strict health & safety standards._
- _ Develop and Manage site budget (requirement to perform against the budget, ensuring the site meets the bottom line). Financial forecasting and budgeting for the new financial year._
- _ Manage and guide a team of operators and plant staff._
- _ Manage and drive the procurement process and build strong relationships with key suppliers._
- _ Communicate with Head Office Support and keep an open communication channel._
