**Job Purpose**

An Event Coordinator helps organisations enhance their brand image by supervising events to ensure that they achieve the set objectives.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute detailed event plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all aspects of the event are well-coordinated and executed smoothly. Product launched, exhibitions and photo shoots.
- In-depth knowledge of public relations, hospitality management, project management and product development.

- Coordinate all logístical aspects of the event, including venue setup, signage, transportation, accommodations, and guest registration.
- Oversee event operations on the day of the event, including managing staff, volunteers, and vendors to ensure everything runs according to plan and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, and attendees, providing timely and professional communication and support throughout the planning and execution process.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to assess the success of the event, gather feedback from clients and attendees, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in event planning and management.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- National Certificate NQF Level 4 / Grade 12
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field NQF 7.
- 4-7 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination, with a strong portfolio of successful events.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, memorable events.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools (e.g., event planning software and project management tools) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, depending on event schedules.
