To support the development and implementation of Absa’s Leadership Development framework, strategies,

policies and standards; to drive embedding of Absa’s target leadership development experience across the group; to provide Subject Matter Expertise to business and People Function stakeholders.

**Job Description**:
Accountability: Leadership Development Experience and thought leadership

Support development and embedding of a differentiated, robust and consistent group-wide leadership development experience that utilizes best-in-class approaches and embodies Absa’s desired culture

Drive leadership development MI reporting, analysis and insights generation to facilitate datadriven planning and decision making (Including periodic Leadership Development Impact analytics)

Contribute to internal and external research that positions Absa as a thought leader and employer of choice on talent and leadership development Accountability: Leadership Development Curriculum

Support development and implementation of the Absa Leadership Academy curriculum

Provide leadership development Subject Matter Expertise and advisory services to business and key stakeholders, including recommendation and development of bespoke leadership development solutions and experiences

Accountability: Accelerated Development of AGL ExCo Succession Pipelines

Support design and execution of all AGL ExCo accelerated development top talent programmes and experience

Support design and management of accelerated development plans of AGL ExCo succession pipelines and priority talent segments Accountability: Facilitation, Coaching and mentoring

Support design and implementation of an Absa Coaching and Mentoring Framework and Strategy, in line with Absa’s leaders building leaders cultural aspiration including maintenance of an accredited Absa coaching network and coordination of the Group Mentorship Programme

Accountability: Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including business leaders, talent leaders and People Partners

Accountability: Capability Building

Support building of specialist leadership development capabilities in business appointed leadership development and talent leads and people Partners

Support building of leadership team and line manager capability in owning and executing the leadership development agenda as a personal and business priority.

Accountability: Risk Management and Governance

Help identify and take accountability for all relevant Leadership Development risks in terms of the AGL Operating Model and Risk Management Framework and ensure that adequate controls and monitoring mechanisms are in place.

Promote and role model a culture of proactive compliance and risk management within executive and management teams, and the function as a whole.

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Industrial and Organisational Psychology
