**Introduction**

We are currently recuiting for an experienced Debt Collector / Inbound and Outbound to join our team.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Keep tracking outstanding debts
- Plan course of action to recover owed money
- Locate and contact debtors
- Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans
- Handle customers' questions or complaints
- Build trust with debtors
- Update account status and database regularly
- Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable

**Desired Experience & Qualification**
- 1 - 3 years of experience as debt collector
- mucipal collection will be added advantage
- Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant legal requirements_(LSDA)
- Good knowledge of MS Office or other customer service management programs
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player /Assertive/ Positive attitude
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy, be able to work under pressure
- Be able to Multitask
- Willingness to learn
- Attention to detail

**Package & Remuneration**

R5000 per month

**Salary**: R5 000,00 per month

**Experience**:

- municipality debt collection: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
