**Overview**

**Minimum Requirements**:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
At least 7 years of experience working in a manufacturing factory, with 3 years in a Line Structure or production management role.
Knowledge of Integrated Work Systems (IWS) tools and methodologies.
familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
Good understanding of Secondary/QA operations.
Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication and influencing abilities.
Demonstrated leadership in the areas of safety and quality.
Proven change leadership experience.
Ability to present to small and large groups and clearly communicate messaging.
Experience in resource management, including people and costs.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Lead and manage a team consisting of Maintenance Leads, Process Leads, Shift Leads, Technicians, and Technical Operators.
Ensure the team delivers results to achieve the Business objectives and the Compelling Business Need.

Oversee the operation and maintenance of making or packing machines, or PMD.
Monitor and optimize production processes to achieve efficiency and quality targets.
Drive safety and quality initiatives, ensuring a clear understanding of resource management in terms of people and costs.
Lead change initiatives and effectively communicate messaging to small and large groups.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production and quality.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team members.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
Own Incident Elimination (IE), Quality Incident Elimination (QIE), Centreline (CL), Cleaning, Inspection & Lubrication (CIL), Defect Handling (DH), Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MPS), Breakdown Elimination (BDE), Change Over (CO), Change Management (CM) Daily Management Systems (DMS) for the Cell.
Lead the production lines through the Integrated Work Systems (IWS) Phase Journey.
Lead the execution of improving results as per business objectives.
Clearly understand department priorities and improve technical or system aspects of the business.
Lead and set direction during Line Daily Direction Setting (DDS), weekly DDS, monthly DDS, and quarterly 90-day planning work processes to deliver target results.
Report out on the following during the DDS: Safety & Quality metrics, DMS performance - in-process and output measures and Production attainment results.
Review incident investigations as needed and as part of Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) reviews.
Develop the Cell Master/90-Day Plans to address losses and build capability.
Lead execution of 90-Day Plans to eliminate losses using IWS tools.
Monthly review of Line 90-day Master Plans and results.
Drive breakthrough results in Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Planned and Unplanned Downtime while delivering against the Master Production Schedule.
Lead issue resolution "to Root Cause" on the floor for chronic stops.
Execute weekly Health Checks, identifying gaps in system, and implementing appropriate countermeasures.
Carry out Risk assessments for both Staff and Contractors and oversee that safety is observed in the cell.
Continuous improvement of KPIs e.g. waste reduction, increasing productivity and skills development.
Provide input to the planning system and understand the implications.
Quality: ensuring quality targets are met, consumer complaints are responded to, and detailed action plans are developed to ensure the resolution of problems.
Together with Engineering, ensure appropriate planning and execution of preventative and opportunistic maintenance.
Coordination with the engineering department on investment projects as required.
Ensure waste i.e. material/tobacco/process waste is managed through collaboration with support departments.
Ensuring EH&S policies and procedures are adhered to within the area of responsibility (e.g., SMD, PMD, and FMD).
Continuous improvement of department KPIs. Drives the identification of improvement opportunities, prioritizes them based on impact on production plan, and ensures development of action plans and their implementation e.g., optimization of resources, waste reduction, increasing productivity and flexibility.
Support the process of New Product Introduction (NPI).
