**OVERALL PURPOSE OF THIS JOB**:
System administration and related support and maintenance of the relevant Business Application Systems in all areas regionally and nationally as required.

**KEY RESULT AREAS**:
**System Administration**
- The Business Applications Coordinator is accountable for systems administration and related support and maintenance of the relevant Business Application Systems in all areas.
- Work with specific users to support them in their roles - assisting with user queries, trouble shooting, resolution of problems and escalation where necessary.
- Responsible for communicating with staff especially with regards to Updates, problems and feedback
- Establish and maintain relationships with Key stakeholders i.e. Integrated Tertiary Support Unit (ITSU) and Group IT and other
- Communicate effectively with other team members, clients, and users, ITSU, Group IT and other to promote cooperation and mutual success in the specified areas or applicable specialised system.
- Implementation of role appropriate initiatives and innovation
- Escalate issues to the appropriate parties based on user concerns and questions

**System Training**
- Review system specific training guides and distribute accordingly.
- Develop training material for internally developed system in area of specialisation.
- Provide training to users in order to ensure that stakeholders and users have the required knowledge to make optimal use of the relevant Business Application systems including new user training, ongoing training and the management of all relevant training materials.
- Review updates and trends to system of specialisation to provide innovative suggestions and solutions to users and system updates.

**Help Desk Management**
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of appropriate standards, procedures and documentation related to the specified areas of responsibility.
- Helpdesk management (IIE Assist), daily logging of helpdesk queries, tracking the resolution of queries and incidents, trouble shooting and a monthly helpdesk analysis.

**Specialised System Focus (Finance, marketing and Academic )**
- Provide input and support for Key Business Strategic initiatives related to area of specialisation
- Support on key Business strategic system related projects - where necessary.

**Social Media**
- Daily allocation of leads
- Responding to Social Media post

**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum a Tertiary Qualification in the related discipline -Business Analyst or Information Systems related Qualifications. Special Requirement: Driver's License

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 2 years IT/Business Analysis and or project management experience.

**COMPETENCIES REQUIRED**:
