**Job Summary**:
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and promoting the company's recycling services or products. The role involves a combination of client acquisition, relationship management, and achieving sales targets.
**Responsibilities**:
**Prospecting and Lead Generation**:
- Identify potential clients and industries that can benefit from the company's recycling services or products.
- Research and gather information about potential clients to understand their needs and pain points.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.
**Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the company's services.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to assess client needs and address any concerns.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
**Negotiation and Closing Deals**:
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with potential clients to secure new business.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations and finance, to ensure the smooth onboarding of new clients.
**Market Analysis and Insights**:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitors' offerings.
- Provide feedback to the management team about market needs, customer preferences, and potential areas for expansion.
**Sales Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress toward sales targets.
- Provide regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
**Continuous Learning**:
- Keep up-to-date with developments in recycling technologies, regulations, and sustainability practices.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the recycling, waste management, or environmental services industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical aspects of recycling services.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices is a plus.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
