Senior Financial Advisor

We are looking for a result-driven Senior Financial Advisor to be responsible for providing financial advice to clients on retirement planning, investing in the future, savings, and life insurance protection. The Financial advisor will complete a financial need analysis and present them with customized financial proposals. You should thereafter discuss and market insurance options that suit their needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive leads from lead generator channels and make telephonic contact with the client to set up a meeting within the specified timeframes per the leads campaign agreement.
- Assess the client's portfolio and identify possible gaps for which solutions can be formulated, prior to meeting with the client.
- Request all the relevant information from the client as required by the relevant legislative frameworks (e.g., FAIS Act).
- Follow all the steps in the designated client engagement process.
- Make use of the Financial Needs Analysis tool provided to conduct a comprehensive risk evaluation for the client.
- Discuss various possible solutions and options available with the client and thereafter recommend the most appropriate solution(s) to address any gaps.
- Generate and discuss the appropriate solution in writing with the client, complete the necessary product proposal forms and ensure that the client signs the forms to indicate his/her consent.
- Gather and complete all the necessary compliance documentation.
- Submit the proposal forms to the relevant product providers for processing.
- Review the client's portfolio and contact the client on a regular basis to discuss potential enhancements and revisions to his/her insurance and/or investments portfolio and identify new business opportunities.
- Meet allocated targets using the sales strategy.
- Seek business opportunities from external sources as necessary to grow the book of business.

**Education And Experience Required**
- NQF - Level 4
- FAIS credits at NQF Level 5
- RE5
- 10 - 15 Years experience as a Financial Advisor

**Advantageous**
- Certificate in Financial Planning or Equivalent
- Higher certificate in Insurance
