**PR/Marketing Agency seeks to employ a Senior Account Manager.**

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum relevant tertiary degree or diploma qualification in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism
- Relevant Honours qualification (advantageous)
- 7+ years working at an advertising, public relations or in-house agency or communications department
- Client services Business development, account management and sales
- Content generation and distribution across all media channels
- Strategic client service in an advertising or digital agency is preferred

**Strategic Planning and Project Management**
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding and knowledge of our clients, offerings, competitors, and industry.
- Provide superior customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
- Identifying improvement opportunities and proposing new tools and processes
- Understanding needs and identify new business opportunities
- Develop and implement client strategies
- Set and achieve measurable client objectives and monitor the effectiveness of campaigns
- Lead brainstorming sessions and carry out thorough research as required
- Establish and deliver accurate timelines required to complete the required work
- Support the Business Development Director to improve performance and to reach sales targets.

**Strategic Content Generation and Distribution**
- Manage concurrently ongoing high-paced creative projects from conceptualisation to placement
- Produce content for clients, including digital and traditional content
- Project manage the development of design/DTP components
- Ensure consistent identity and messaging across all content touch points
- Oversee and collaborate on the strategic distribution of content across all media channels, including social media, design/DTP and PR
- Effectively manage expectations and actively problem-solve issues as they arise.

**External Relationship Development and Management**
- Successfully build and manage the client relationships
- Strategically lead client meetings and provide feedback and status of plans
- Effectively manage the client briefing process, expectations, and revisions
- Accountable for the building and managing of strong supplier and partner relationships, including printers, digital suppliers and freelancers

**External and Internal Reporting and Budget Management**
- Drive the development and evaluation of short-and long-term strategic and financial objectives of the client
- Optimise internal and external resource allocation and utilisation
- Ensure spend is always in line with clients’ budget
- Regular written and verbal communication and reporting

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)

**Experience**:

- advertising, public relations or in-house agency: 7 years (required)
