Male Podcast Host

**Host**
We are looking for a MALE HOST for a new weekly podcast interviewing guests on a show. The host will be leading the show to interview guests across entertainment and creative industry. Host should be an excellent storyteller, engaging and leading a show.

The host will help shape the podcast through creative direction, research and personality. The host will narrate scripts and participate in the production process, preparing for interviews, and writing and editing scripts.

**Responsibilities**:
Serve as host and lead guests.

Write and voice scripts that engage the audience in a genuine, authentic manner by being informative and creative, with a casual and engaging tone that helps audiences feel a personal connection to the host and content.

Research and conduct interviews.

Coordinate with producers and writers create each episode’s content.

Collaborate with producers to generate interesting show topics and schedule guests that will create lively dialogue that engages the interests of the audience.

Produce promotional and other content for advertisers

**Qualifications**
At least 2 years in role of communication, marketing or media.

National Diploma or Degree in
Marketing or Media communication

communication in any 2 South African language, from Sotho, Zulu, Pedi, Venda or Tswana and English.

Moderate to advanced writing skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: R4,000.00 - R6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
