- Reporting to the General Manager- JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up workstations with computers and peripheral devices, including routers and printers, within RDS importance environment.- Troubleshoot hardware and software systems, perform repairs or replacements as necessary.- Ensure functionality of computer hardware such as monitors, mice, and keyboards.- Install and configure software and functions according to specifications.- Provide basic network troubleshooting.- Assist in optimizing IT systems and networks for performance.- Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies and procedures.- Orient and guide users on operating new software and equipment.- Provide technical assistance and support to end-users.- Maintain records/logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules.- Collaborate with team members on IT projects and initiatives.- Document and maintain records of IT assets and configurations.- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT field.- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify and solve troubleshooting issues.-
**Inherent Requirements**
- JOB PROFILE QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+).- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (Current or in progress).- At least 5 years of Experience in a similar role is essential- Proven experience in IT technical support.- Knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts.- Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.- BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:
