Job Title: Finance Administrator
Job Summary:
The Finance Administrator will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial and administrative support to the finance department of our organization. This role will primarily focus on processing financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities. The Finance Administrator will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records and provide crucial support in various financial and administrative tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Process financial transactions accurately, including payments, invoices, expenses, and journal entries.
2. Perform routine reconciliations of bank statements and financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including vendor management and invoicing.
4. Prepare and distribute invoices to clients/customers accurately and in a timely manner.
5. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial data.
6. Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
7. Prepare and provide financial reports to management as required, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
8. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial information and analysis.
**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (X years) as a Finance Administrator or in a similar role.
3. In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
4. Proficient in using financial software and MS Office (particularly Excel).
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle numerical data accurately.
