A Junior Project Manager is responsible for coordinating project tasks to ensure successful completion, managing communication between the project team and stakeholders, and maintaining project documentation and compliance with standards and regulations. They play a crucial role in supporting project objectives, facilitating team collaboration, and adhering to project management methodologies. Their goal is to assist in delivering projects efficiently, on time, and within budget.

**Coordinating Project Tasks**

Ensuring that all project activities proceed smoothly and efficiently. Effective coordination ensures tasks are completed on time, deadlines are met, and project goals are achieved

**Managing Communication**

Effective stakeholder communication between the project management team and stakeholders is essential for the success of any project. Stakeholders are individuals affected by or interested in the project’s outcome.

**Maintaining Project Documentation**

Project documentation enhances efficiency, minimizes risks, and fosters successful project outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Completed degree in one of the following fields of study:

- Systems
- BSc/ BEng Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- BSc Computer Science
- PDM; PDBA; PGDIP and Master in any of the above would be advantageous
- PRINCE2 and PMP certification would be advantageous

**Experience**:

- 2 - 3 years in a project management/ coordination role

**Requirements**:

- Leadership Roles: Participation in student organizations, clubs, or leadership positions that demonstrate initiative and organizational skills.
- Project Work: Experience in handling academic or extracurricular projects that involve teamwork and strategic thinking.
- Previous Internship or Work Experience: Prior experience in consulting, project management, or a related field would be advantageous.
- Ability to the travel between IQbusiness and our clients, locally or outside of SA.
