The following are considered the Key Performance areas for this Position:

- Supervise the branch floor employees ensuring that the floor runs smoothly.
- Assist branch floor employees, guiding and hands on approach.
- Assist with sales order processing when the need arises.
- Ensure inventory management meet the required standard. Carry out weekly cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and submit completed counts within the deadlines given.
- Carry out annual stock take in February.
- Maintain a stock accuracy of at least ,75% and a rand value variance of 0.25%.
- Management and limitation of damaged stock.
- Spot checking vehicles going out to ensure load correctly.
- Management of damaged / redundant stock.
- Warehouse lay-out and packing ensure optimum efficiencies.
- Rotation of stock oldest first.
- Do stock build/adjustments for doorframe kits and nails.
- Manage physical receiving and dispatch.
- Accurate receiving of stock, quantity, and quality to be checked.
- Ensure efficient and accurate picking & loading of stock for customers.
- Dispatching of customer orders & trucks in a timeously manner.
- Maintain safe work environment in the branch.
- Ensure compliance with policies & procedures.
- Branch floor employees to be made aware and kept up to date with any changes.
- Ensure housekeeping is to the required standard.
- Ensure that you discipline staff
- minor and mayor incidents. From issuing verbal warning to Disciplinary hearings.

Required qualifications/ experience:

- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Product knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Awareness of safety and good practise
- Previous supervisory experience would be an advantage
- Previous disciplinary experience
- Excellent computer skills
