Overview

Position: Stores Team Leader

Location: Midrand, Gauteng

**Salary**: Market Related and Negotiable

**JOB PURPOSE**
- The Primary responsibility of the Stores Team Leader is to ensure the smooth flow of materials from the point of delivery at the company’s facility until the end user, either company in Midrand, local clients or international clients.
- Disposal of materials and stock, the materials Review Board (MRB) form part of the primary responsibility of the Stores Team Leader.
- Clearly identification of stock and their bin allocations.
- Accountable and responsible to ensure the Stock Governance Function is executed within Paramount Land Systems either by delegating responsibility to his/her subordinates and/or by contracting the relevant skills required to meet both the business specific and contract specific requirements.
- Full Stock Governance Accountability remains with the Stores Team Leader.

**Key Performance Areas/Accountabilities/High level functions**:

- Detailed recording(s) of every part that is received.
- Detail recording(s) of every part that is issued to production or any other internal or external customer including parts sent out for rework as well as where the parts are returned to Stores.

This is to be physically recorded as well as recorded in the ERP system against the relevant project/contract/works order.

Ensuring this activity occurs within the ERP system is still the responsibility of the Stores Team Lead whether processed by this department or another.
- Attend production shortage meetings as scheduled
- Ensure items are identifiable and binned in the correct bin, no stock mixed (used/new)
- Ensuring every delivery received is fed back to the procurement department informing the procurement department of what has been received and what is outstanding by means of complete/outstanding Syspro report
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cycle counts and rectify status on the Syspro system according to company procedures.
- Ensuring the relevant fields/processes etc. is actioned in Syspro
- Ensuring all documentation received is captured, updated, scanned, and saved electronically for easy access
- Ensure stock list is always up to date and every part on the stock list can be identified and found
- Maintain high standards of security in the warehouse
- No stock to be removed without documentation
- Identify any systems improvements and make recommendations for change
- Conduct monthly Material Review Boards (MRB’s)
- Responsible for Health and Safety matters in the stores

**Qualification and Experience**:

- 5-10 years’ experience in Manufacturing / Armoured Vehicles
- Experience in parts supply
- Formal qualifications in Warehouse Management.
- Experience in Sock Governance
- Experience on ERP system / Syspro
- Financial Acumen

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R35,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Manufacturing / Armoured Vehicles: 5 years (preferred)

License/Certification:
