Chief Financial Officer

**Location**:Johannesburg, ZA, 1462**Position Type**:Professional- Transport is at the core of modern society. Imagine using your expertise to shape sustainable transport solutions for the future? Communication and implementation of the financial framework/strategy to ensure effective reporting, sophisticated analysis in order to identify problems and recommend possible solutions, related industry standard benchmarking and the achievement of corporate goals and objectives.
Develop and put in place strategic operational plans and budgets in line with the company’s overall business strategy.
Develop a strategic plan for Enterprice Risk Management,
Monitor and evaluate the financial information in terms of risk areas and business management in order to identify concern areas and direct and support the operations in minimizing the impact of these.
Work in collaboration with the local Operations to develop suitable business strategies to guide operating performance.
Manage and control Credit and cash Management
Compiling of Business Review (BRM) material
Coaching of direct reports and creating cross functional teamwork
Implement a culture of strong financial controls, proper corporate governance and discipline around the financial procedures.
Facilitate and guide in different forums (such as CMT, Legal Board, etc.)
Identify business risk and general internal control processes and assessments to ensure compliance with Corporate Governance
Development of operational budgets and accurate forecasts, maintaining rolling forecasts and estimates.
Providing support to other departments through effective leadership of the Business Control team and aligning the respective efforts and business plans to the different business needs.
Ensure the on-going development and enhancement of staff skills and potential in order to achieve levels of competency as well as exceed personal performance excellence (nurture talent).

Committed and driven team-player with excellent problem-solving skills and strong ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders on different levels in the organization as much as outside of the organization.
Engage in an cross-functionally work leveraging the knowledge and support available in all areas of Volvo Group Southern Africa and external partners to ensure high levels of dialogue, exchange of information and coordination between all stakeholders.
Work in accordance with and demonstrate the Volvo Group processes, the Code of Conduct, the Volvo Group Values and Volvo Group Leadership Principles.
