Numsa Financial Services (NFS) is an authorised Financial Services Provider (FSP) accredited by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) and the Council of Medical Schemes (CMS). NFS was established in 2010, with the aim of providing members of the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa(NUMSA) with affordable financial services products, tailored to suit their budget.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Demonstrate a good understanding of the medical schemes.
- Being the primary contact for schemes.
- Conduct needs analysis and record of advice to be completed when consulting.
- Conduct member assist sessions.
- Ensure that members understand the benefits, exclusions, administration processes and procedures of their appointed schemes.
- Responsible to provide client’s monthly reports to Regional Manager.
- Plan, Co -ordinate and conduct Wellness events with client’s Medical Scheme.
- Ensure accurate record keeping on client communication, industry changes, newsletters, correspondence documents and record advice given.
- Conduct Year - End revision, negotiate communicate open underwriting periods, launches, schemes highlight, Year End.
- Provide accurate advice implement and stream medical aid processes with client’s business with the assistance of the client’s medical processes with the client’s business with assistance of the client’s rules in accordance with FIAS requirements.
- Being responsible for conducting healthcare related training and conducting induction training and one on one sessions.

**SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- Essential Qualification_

RE5,

120 FIAS CREDITS
- An NQF or equivalent qualification in healthcare.
- Accreditation on 8 Medical Scheme.
- Valid Drivers’ License

Preferred Qualification:

- A relevant qualification from a reputable tertiary educational institution would be advantageous.
- Registration as a representative with FSCA with the FIAS act and CMS.

**Experience required**:

- Function related experience: 2 to 5 years in a similar or related role.
- Extensive healthcare experience.
- A proven record of achievement as a consultant.
- The ability to analyse date from medical schemes and competently, objectively present the finding to clients.
- Responsible to provide client’s monthly report to Regional Manager.
- Perform a range of mainly straightforward assignments.
- Has working knowledge and experience in own discipline.
- Use prescribed guidelines or policies to analyse and resolve problems.
- Continue to build knowledge of the organization, process and customers.
