An exciting and challenging opportunity, based at our Support Centre in Kuils River, has just become available for a Remuneration & Benefits Specialist within our Human Resources department.

We are looking for a passionate specialist in the rewards field who will be the custodian of all benefits policies, provide consultative support to the HR team and design and implement fit for purpose pay practices.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage all job evaluation within the organisation
- Manage annual salary review processes
- Develop reward policies and practices
- Manage the short term incentive processes
- Devise remuneration solutions for specific issues in bordering countries
- Lead the education of employees on Rem & Ben matters
- Review benefits offering to the employees through benchmarking
- Ensure effective management and compliance of benefits in house (i.e. loans/bursaries)
- Responsible in overseeing the administrative and consultative processes of the benefits department
- Administer the employee wellness programme
- Assistance with the HRIS team
- Adhoc admin and reporting related to the Remuneration & Benefits team

**KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED**:
**SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, at all levels
- Proven ability to prioritize between multiple high-priority initiatives - results orientated
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze benefit and remuneration data
- Extremely strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail
- High Levels of Computer literacy - advanced Excel
- Ability to project manage changes relating to benefits and remuneration practices/processes
- Ability to draft employee benefit proposals that considers impact on all stakeholders (Finance, HR, Culture, Employees, Payroll, Systems)
- Ability to diagnose problems, identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Strong teamwork skills in conjunction with utilizing your own initiative
- A natural inclination to seek the voice of your internal customers to improve the customer experience and end user outcomes

**EXPERIENCE**:
Essential
- 3 years related experience in the Rewards field as a Specialist

Preferred
- Experience building, managing and using Excel tools (Tax calculators/HR Rem tools etc)

**QUALIFICATION REQUIRED**

Essential
- Relevant degree

Preferred
- Global Remuneration Practices (GRP) certification
- Accredited by the South African Association (SARA) as a Reward Analyst or Remuneration Specialist
