**Job Advert Summary**:
Epol is looking for a dynamic and experienced Equine Technical Advisor to join their EPOL team. The successful incumbent will be responsible to support the equine national Sales Manager. To grow and manage existing equine business in Gauteng, Northern and North Western region, Western and Eastern Cape as well as central region.To increase visibility and customer visits in the populated equine regions and actively seek new opportunities in allocated regions and support Pretoria and Driehoek as the equine producing mill.To assist with the marketing and branding of the brand through input regarding adverts and active participation on social media platforms.

**Minimum Requirements**:
BSc. Animal Nutrition
Equine Diploma (Advantageous)

Minimum of 10 years in Equine industry

Knowledge of Equine industry - Practical experience
Sound knowledge of good feeding practises for horses.
Administrative skills - Planning & Computer Skills

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
To support sales in specified regions through customer visits and visits to stockists of equine feed.
To attend shows and equine events in this region to increase visibility and build stronger relationships with the riding market in all equine discplines in their region.
To provide technical support for clients needing advice and assistance in their regions. Make time for visits to riding yards and provide the service which will differentiate us from our competitors and put us ahead and gain grow the business.
To provide nutritional advise to clients of all equine disciplines for the best welfare and care of the horse.
To establish relationships with Pretoria and Driehoek mill which produces all our equine feed and work closely with them to better service our equine clients with service delivery and communication.
To visit all resellers and co-ops in their regions and assist with customer complaints, stock management and good relationships needed for optimum customer service.
Seek opportunities in their allocated areas, identify growth areas and target new customers.
To work at achieving set volume targets set by the NESM for the allocated financial year.
To assist in opening new accounts for customers and assisting debtors department when needed to resolve account issues.
To be able to register new vendors on the system for sponsorship.

Will work under the National Equine Sales Manager and will develop strategy to be approved and guided by the NESM.
Will need to work with all specie TA’s in their regions as well as interacting with the mill staff to optimize customer service delivery

Communicate with all support staff which includes mill personnel & laboratory
Person will need to interact personally (face to face) with customers in their region.

Technically strong in order to advise clients after visiting and assessing a customer’s requirements.
