**Job description**:
The Policy Administrator will be responsible to provide administrative assistance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Issuing new policies, renewals and endorsements
- Prepare new business quotes
- Negotiating renewal terms and preparing the renewal documentation
- Effecting endorsements on relevant systems
- Checking policies before sending it to clients
- Telephone contact with clients when they phone in with queries or amendments / additional covers
- Dealing with various insurers
**Skill sets required**:
- Grade 12
- Computer literate (MS Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Successfully completed the RE 5 Examination (Representatives)
- NQF Level 4: Short-Term Commercial Lines 150 credits or equivalent qualification set by regulation
- DOFA confirmation from FSCA
- A minimum of five (5) years’ underwriting experience in Short-term Insurance
- Good verbal and written communication skills (Fully Bilingual)
