You will be responsible for driving and executing transformation and organisational effectiveness strategic plans that will aid the business in achieving and progressing its transformation and organisational culture journey.

This work includes the realization of our Zero Harm, Elimination of Fatalities, Life of Asset Plan, P101, and advancement of FutureSmart Mining programmes.

**Job Description**:

- The Section Manager Transformation and Organizational Effectiveness will provide specialist advice and support for Organization Effectiveness initiatives including those related to leadership and culture, organizational design, organizational diagnostics, team performance and development (TEAM+), inclusion and diversity, and driving HR improvement projects and initiatives in a way that supports the Amandelbult Complex’s purpose to aim at “re-imagining mining to improve people’s lives.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Delivering on the Amandelbult’ s operational organizational effectiveness and transformational strategy.
- Identify and propose operation and people improvement projects.
- Drive implementation of performance management tool to enable the high-performance culture and teams.
- Guide leaders on setting up on individual and team routines to drive positive accountability and track progress against commitments.
- Support and guide operational leaders with tools and skills to manage under performance to enable individual performance within teams.
- Collaborate and align with site health teams to embed the wellness interventions in line with the strategic objectives.
- Drive compliance towards the regulated and internal AAP stretched targets (MC III, SLP, B-BBEE) and develop an integrated inclusion and belonging strategy that supports the compliance efforts for sustainability.
- Determine effective tools that enable ongoing ‘organizational climate check’ to remain in tune with the voices of employees at all levels and develop actions to address employee engagement challenges.
- Drive the Inclusion & Diversity initiatives including eradication of all forms of violence with Specific focus on training & awareness and simplification of HR processes.
- Development of the site-specific Employment Equity Plan through consultation with the relevant stakeholders.
- Influence diversity agenda through detailed knowledge of the org structures, numbers, and opportunities at site.
- Promote the requisite organization theory and practice on the operation.
- Provide input for the formulation of culture, inclusion and diversity strategies based on an in-depth understanding of site challenges and nuisances.
- Implementation of diversity programs and strategies for site
- Org Design management to align to the OD Blueprint, organizational changes, and Labour Costs
- Lead on change management planning and expert advice to the BU and various People agenda initiatives in an integrated manner.
- Partner with senior leadership at site to develop and implement diversity strategies to support the shaping of an inclusive culture at site.
- Interpret data, prepare reports to profile the effectiveness of diversity and inclusion programs and OE solutions for improvement to enable leaders to make decisions.
- Coordinate OE & I&D initiatives undertaken and provide guidance to site leaders.
- Support and guide the recruitment team to help create a brand that appeals to diverse applicants and removes bias.
- Strategic workforce planning and delivery of the OD and change response plans.
- Contribute to building relationships with relevant key stakeholders at site level, ensuring engagements are consistent with parties that influence transformation and OE initiatives at site.

**This role is in the Human Resources department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Senior HR Manager Operations.**
- Qualifications
- NQF 7 Hons Degree in Human Resources Management
- Any qualification in Industrial Psychology would be an added advantage
- HSPCA registered would be advantageous.
