- Sound understanding of 3D CAD packages, in particular SolidWorks

- Sound understanding of fabrication, boiler making/welding, precision machining;
- Good organizational, planning & time management skills;

**Job responsibilities**:

- Complete training as required;
- Shadow applicable Engineers, in order to gain a fundamental understanding of the tooling and equipment used;
- Work alongside the current engineering team assisting with design & manufacture requests for specialized tooling and equipment;
- Generate fit-form-function based Concept and Detail Designs comprising of 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks;
- Generate manufacturing data packs (incl. BOM’s, QCP’s and Works Instructions);
- Oversee the Manufacture of tooling and equipment from inception through to delivery; ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. This will include, but will not be limited to: quotation, project execution, procurement, logistics, resource planning, scheduling, reporting, databook generation, oversight, supplier/vendor management, quality control and project closeout;
- Compile manuals, reports and procedures as required;
- Assist Engineers with Admin tasks;
- Assist Engineers with R&D testing on Equipment;
- Report effectively to Management and Customers;
- Always ensure a safe working environment.
