**JOB AT A GLANCE**:
Our client is recruiting for a Medical Front Office Co-ordinator (Receptionists) in the DR room. Front
Office Co-ordinator are administrative professionals who are responsible for supporting the daily operations of organizations.
To be successful as an office coordinator you must be detail-oriented and manage your time efficiently so that office operations run smoothly.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Answering phones.
- Welcoming patience and clients
- Assisting patients with the intake process
- Billing insurance companies for patient procedures
- Dealing with collections and debtors
- Collaborating with providers and other administrative staff
- Contacting patients to confirm their upcoming appointments.
- Helping patients with their questions about appointments and care
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Processing patient payments
- Receiving, sorting and distributing the practice's mail
- Scheduling appointments for patients
- Transcribing notes from medical providers
- Using digital and physical filing systems
**KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES**:
- Matric
- Bookkeeping Certificate/Diploma will be advantageous.
- Min 3yrs experience within a medical practice
- 3 yrs Healthbridge or Med-Edi software knowledge.
- Empathetic, bubbly and helpful personality
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Administrative Skills, Written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service, Problem-solving.
- Ability to work under pressure.
