**Reporting to** Head: Academic

The IIE’s **Vega School Pretoria campus** is seeking a part time Lecturer (Independent Contractor) for the first semester of the 2023 academic year.

**Job Purpose**:
Lecturer and academic delivery to ensure students are guided and supported in their learning to achieve module outcomes.

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:
Ideal: Honours in Information & Knowledge Management

Alternatively:

- Honours in one of the Business-related fields (e.g. information knowledge, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) - with Knowledge Management to the third year level
- Bachelor degree with Information Knowledge Management or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) to the third year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education

**Minimum Work Experience Requirements**:

- ** **Lecturing experience in Information knowledge management/ business management/ risk/ supply chain /project management
- Work experience in the fields of risk, entrepreneurship, supply chain or project management/ knowledge manager/ information manager (officer)
- Being involved in the process of analysis and the components and functions of optimisation in the operational process.

**Key Performance Areas**:

- Preparation and lecturing as per the Module Guide
- Teaching curriculum outcomes as per contract hours and stipulated per pre agreed timetable
- Briefing students for assignments and providing feedback in a timeous manner
- Presenting class marks and feedback to the Module Discipline Leader and discuss appropriate interventions for improved student success
- Actively engaging with current trends in teaching and learning strategies within The IIE’ Vega School environment.

**Working Conditions**:

- Please note that this is an Independent Contractor position
- Positions are **part-time**, with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:30
