PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The HR Generalist supports the productivity of the organisation and the optimisation and enabling of staff performance. Working in close partnership with line leaders and colleagues in the HR Team, the HR Generalist accomplishes this mandate by ensuring that business practices are fair, that operational goals, expectations, obligations, policies and procedures are clearly understood, that performance is evaluated fairly, and that performance and conflict issues are fairly and timeously resolved.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Required - Diploma in HR.
- Highly Advantageous - Additional IR and performance evaluation and improvement courses.
- Advantageous - Additional business or technology courses.

EXPERIENCE:

- Required - 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role.
- Required - 3 years’ experience in IR.
- Required - 3 years’ experience in performance evaluation and improvement.
- Highly Advantageous - Experience working on an HRIS.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

- Current and emerging employee relations, productivity and performance legislation, statutory environment and theory.
- Employee relations, productivity and performance methodologies.
- The emerging role of technology and digital enablers in employee relations, productivity and performance processes.
- Good analytical skills to ensure effective interpretation of workforce data and statistical information.
- Agile thinking, sense-making and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional relational skills.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advantageous - fluency in English and one official black language.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define and maintain employment policies and procedures.
- Partner with line leaders and the Talent Practitioner to establish performance standards.
- Foster effective relations with and between the company, employees and their representatives.
- Maintain accurate staff record-keeping

NB: The Company fully subscribes to the principles of the Employment Equity Act.
APPLICATIONS:
**Salary**: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month

- Rivonia, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
