We are currently looking to appoint a dynamic,
experienced Managing Director who will be responsible for maintaining full control of the Courier Franchise Business.
- Strategic planning: Developing and implementing the company's long-term strategic plan and ensuring that
the company meets its objectives.
- Direct and monitor national franchise growth and expansion.
- Operations management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure efficiency and
profitability. This includes oversight of the 3 corporate owned Regional Franchises
- Sales and marketing: Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and
market share.
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
- Regulatory compliance: Ensuring that the company complies with all applicable laws and regulations,
including environmental regulations, health and safety regulations, and labor laws.
- Customer relations: Building and maintaining relationships by maintaining market perception and respect for
the Client brand.
- Ensure the achievement of customer satisfaction in terms of quality, maintenance of schedules, safety of
employees, the public and the environment.
- Research and development: Leading research and development efforts to innovate and improve the
company's products and processes.
- Stakeholder relations: Building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, including
shareholders, suppliers, and local communities.
- Continuous improvement: Continuously monitoring and improving the company's operations, processes, and
products to ensure that the company remains competitive and profitable.
- Ensure uniformity throughout contracts and agreements with franchise businesses.
- Foster relationships between FSO and franchisees
- Manage relations with the Global Franchisor and ensure compliance with the Global Franchise Agreement
Lead and manage organizational change to accommodate trends in the market.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of ongoing projects/business challenges.
- Ensure bottom-line profitability.
- Provide the company and employees with a clear vision.
- Communicate company reports and achievements to the board, shareholders, and business partners.
- Provide strategic advice to the board, shareholders, and business partners.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / MBA Essential
- 5 years’ + relevant experience as Managing Director or related title with proven track record displaying
excellent commercial acumen.
- Franchise experience is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, collaborative and strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with corporate law and management of best practices
- Outstanding communication & presentation skills.
- Excellent time management & deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills
- Broad knowledge of accounting principles
