To initiate and lead deal origination for the CPF Mezzanine Finance business by structuring complex structured financial solutions, preparing and presenting credit papers to enable Mezzanine Property Finance transactions, processing transactions from inception to client acceptance and final pay-away and contributing to profitability, increased market share and our holistic client value proposition.

Ensuring that existing CPF clients are maintained and consequently that our relationship-based business potential is optimised by ensuring that maximum profitability/return is derived for CPF. The position involves working closely with all Investment Banking product areas.

The role requires a close working relationship with the overall CPF loan portfolio, Credit, DocMan, PCG and internal legal teams to originate and successfully execute transactions.
- Post-graduate degree in Finance/Accounting/Property Studies/Quantity Survey or similar.
- Chartered Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Property Studies or QS.
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in Commercial Property Equity and/or Mezzanine Finance or Property fund and/or Property development environment.
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in structured lending in a financial institution or property development environment

Job Responsibilities
- Achieve sustainable financial objectives established by management through securing mezzanine funding opportunities within the commercial property sector, contributing to enhanced client service.
- Execute transactions effectively, adhere to risk standards, and take corrective actions when needed through modeling, researching, analyzing deal proposals, and executing legal agreements.
- Enhance deal origination by providing multidisciplinary solutions, identifying and resolving work problems, and delivering required output to clients.
- Liaise with the Senior Debt CPF lending business to align finance and deal decisions to enhance optimum returns for the Bank and the most appropriate client funding proposal.
- Ensure proper deal implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements by developing, maintaining, and running risk and pricing models.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders by offering high-quality advice, execution, and delivery on transactions.
- Consistently meet and exceed client needs by maintaining open communication channels with internal stakeholders and ensuring smooth workflow. Identify and recommend effective ways to operate, seeking opportunities to enhance business processes and systems.
- Grow and maintain our client base in the commercial property sector through networking with external stakeholders and identifying new opportunities.
- Take full accountability for the client relationship and maintain a thorough knowledge of client profiles in the portfolio through continued client interaction.
- Conduct reviews of facilities, providing updates to Credit on progress and highlighting identified risks when necessary
