We are an agricultural equipment manufacturer - in the business of manufacturing, supplying and installing grain milling, feed milling, spice milling, grain storage, grain drying and grain handling equipment for agricultural producers, processors, large agro-businesses and government entities.

We are looking for a sales representative to perform the following tasks:
1) Visit existing clients in the retail space - to support repeat sales - typically co-operative retail stores and agriculture wholesalers - to obtain orders trading and manufactured items from us
2) Source new retail and wholesale customers - by visiting branches, obtaining listing with holding companies and introducing new branches to our products and activating inactive existing clients to start ordering again.
3) Visiting prospective clients for grain processing and grain storage systems to inform the customers about the options available to achieve their goals
4) Taking basic measurements of available space at prospective customer sites - so that systems can be designed to suit and fit customer infrastructure
5) Preparing quotations for prospective customers on single items and preparing quotations and proposals together with the project estimating team, and presentation of proposals to customers
6) Attending of trade shows, farmers days and exhibitions - that sometimes run over into weekends
7) Ability to travel to other Southern African, Eastern African and Central African countries
8) Ability to identify needs in the market - as customers are visited - and to communicate the needs to the management team - so that it can be assessed whether the company can address those needs.

**Requirements**:
a) BComm Marketing degree is preferable, but not necessary
b) Preferably 5 years of experience in the sale of mechanical equipment or steel structures - preferably in the agricultural market - preferable types of industries of experience would include:
Poultry equipment industry
Swine equipment industry
Dairy industry
Steel structures
Grain handling and silos
Grain mills and spice mill industry
Bulk handling industry
c) Drivers license is a non-negotiable
d) Ability to be away from home for at least 60% of the week - our customers are spread across the entire country - from Limpopo to the Western Cape and north of the border - that you will have to visit. At least three days on the road, and two days in office in a typical week
e) Preferably based in Pretoria, or surrounding areas - but not a requirement
f) Well spoken and presentable appearance
g) Good proficiency in at least **Afrikaans and English**
h) Interest and basic knowledge of mechanical equipment.

**Salary**: R15,000.00 - R22,000.00 per month
