**PACKHOUSE MANAGER - MOLTENO**

We are looking for a driven, dynamic and pro-active **Packhouse Manager** with strong leadership and communication skills. Reporting to the **General Manager**, you will be responsible to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of the packing operations of the **Molteno Packhouse**, part of the **Fruitways Packing Services Division** in **Grabouw**.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the effective implementation of packing schedules and production processes to ensure order fulfilment according to market demand.
- Ensure production KPI’s are in place and targets are met.
- Ensure that the relevant quality controls are in place, adhere to and meet customer expectations.
- Manage Packing Material function to ensure effective packhouse supply while meeting stock level and wastage KPI targets.
- Ensure that effective cost control measures are in place and that department are within budgetary targets.
- Manage and monitor that all relevant health and safety protocols and standards are adhered to according to HACCP/BRC and company regulations.
- Manage and maintain effective relationships with employees and shop stewards.
- Lead, Manage and motivate a team of production personnel, monitor productivity, and ensure continuous improvement of the production department.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a production management environment.
- Preferably a National Diploma in Production/Operations Management (NQF6 level) or Industrial Engineering qualification
- Computer literate and knowledge of systems.
- The ability to communicate effectively on all levels.
- Leadership ability to grow and develop team of Line Managers and Supervisors.
- Strong analytical skills.
