**Forward and Reverse Logistics System Implementation**:

- Implementing and managing systems that handle product returns, including authorization, tracking, and processing.
- Overseeing systems that manage the repair and refurbishment of returned products.
- Implementing systems that ensure proper recycling and disposal of products, adhering to environmental regulations.
- Managing systems that track and optimize the recovery of value from returned products.
- Ensure the seamless integration of different subsystems or components into a cohesive, functioning whole.
- Drive the focus on building automation solutions to streamline logistics processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Bring innovation to supply chain management using cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT
- Ensuring the security and integrity of logistics IT systems and data.
- Ensuring IT systems comply with environmental regulations and industry standards.

**System Integration Design and Architecture**:

- Understand the specific needs of the warehouse, including inventory types, volume, turnover rates, and operational workflows.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and throughput.
- Design systems that can scale with business growth and adapt to changing requirements.
- Ensure the ability to integrate new technologies and processes as needed.
- Design efficient workflows for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
- Determine the level of automation appropriate for the warehouse.
- Work with software and hardware teams to ensure compatibility and performance standards are met.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the framework, including technical details, processes, and user guidelines.
- Adopt lean principles to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.

**Process Optimization**:

- Analyze inventory processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Suggest configuration of warehouse systems to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices for inventory control within the systems.
- Analyze warehouse operations to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Continually adjust processes for accurate inventory tracking, cycle counting, and replenishment.
- Implement quality control measures at various stages of the workflow to ensure order accuracy and product quality.

**Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Use data analytics tools to monitor and improve logistics systems performance optimize these systems.

**Testing and Implementation**:

- Lead the testing of system enhancements to ensure functionality and accuracy.
- Implement changes and updates to warehouse systems, working closely with other IT stakeholders to ensure successful deployment within standard MTNSA IT governance.

**Quality Management**:

- Continuously assess risk and implement mechanisms and processes to overcome these risks.
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of the warehouse systems.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of warehouse systems and implement improvements as needed.
- Work consistently according to MTNSA IT standard operating procedures.
- Analyse situations and take necessary action to ensure quality is maintained.
- Seek feedback from clients/ stakeholders and continuously seek ways of improving on quality in general.

**Customer**:

- Partner with the business and ensure in-depth understanding of MTNSA sale and distribution, processes, existing workflows to assist in the analysis and help identify redundancies and eliminate them to improve operational efficiency.
- Educate the business on technical capabilities and the technical implementation of Warehouse systems. Champion, and drive technical enhancements.
- Arrange regular sessions with customers to inform, educate and facilitate feedback.
- Adopt a proactive approach to prevent problems from arising in the future.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with business unit stakeholders.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to train staff on new systems and workflows.
- Gather feedback from users and make necessary adjustments.

**Strategic Input**:

- Drive the development of goals, tactical strategies, and plans needed to achieve the portfolio’s vision and build the capabilities to enable optimal delivery with input from relevant stakeholders. Provide input to the technology roadmap defined by Group Technology and help Corporate Systems within IS to define standards.

- Provide input to compile and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets relating to functional activities.
