Parts Manager Level 2 Global Grade 13

**Key Output**
- Manage parts people and processes to achieve outputs as per balance scorecard.
- Management of Parts operations KPI’s / SLA” s and parts excellence measurements.
- Ensure customer expectations are met.
- Ensure compliance to vendor interface requirements.
- Ensure resource capacity planning and load balancing between team members.
- Building sustainable competence of all team members.
- Ensures a no-fault report for his area of responsibility.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment which conform to contamination control standards.
- Ensure compliance to corporate governance standards.
- Ensure consistent and effective reman core management.
- Accountable to report on parts operational heath issues.
- Exercice jugement on escalation decisions.
- Manage related capex and operations costs.
- Monitor and perform trend analysis on leas times and back orders ensuring corrective action is taken on deviation of standards.
- Regularly attend customers meeting.
- Utilise appropriate processes such as succession planning, PM & L&D to develop and grow team and self.
- Schedule resources and allocate tasks to match operational requirements.
- Perform monthly regional internal POE audits.
- Develop and implement action plans to address all audit findings.
- Perform regional parts manager exchange audits.
- Return cores within required time frame and manage core entitlements until receipt of credit.
- Prepare and submit periodical reports as and when required.
**Qualification, Experience and Competencies**
- National Diploma (Industrial Engineering) or NQF6 equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering will be an added advantage
- 8 to 10 years’ experience in sales, warehousing and distribution management (Supply chain management)
- 5 years in managerial position
- 3 years operational experience with a related principal
- 5 years inventory control
- 5 years’ experience in a project / process environment
- Exposure to more than one region or functional area of responsibility
- Track record of leading people in a team-based / participative environment
- Working experience on the windows platform, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook)
- Working experience in ERP system (preferably) hands on detail experience
