Our **property development company** is looking for a **Construction Administrator** to support our dynamic construction business team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for managing contracts, budgets, and schedules, we want to hear from you
**What You’ll Do**:
In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Key responsibilities include:
**1. Contract and Document Management**:
- Organize and maintain all construction contracts and project documents for easy access.
- Keep records accurate and up-to-date.
**2. Budget Management**:
- Update project budgets regularly with actual expenditures.
- Collaborate with the finance team to flag discrepancies and keep finances on track.
**3. Supplier Management**:
- Manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Handle orders, deliveries, and resolve supplier issues promptly.
**4. Travel Arrangements**:
- Coordinate travel for staff, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
- Ensure all bookings are cost-effective and documented.
**5. Meeting Coordination**:
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take concise minutes.
- Ensure smooth communication between teams and stakeholders.
**6. General Administration**:
- Order office supplies and maintain an efficient, organized work environment.
**7. Compliance and Record-Keeping**:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all key documents.
**8. Ad-Hoc Tasks**:
- Provide general support to the construction management team as needed.
**What We’re Looking For**:
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in business administration or construction management is a plus).
- Minimum of **2 years of administrative experience**, ideally in construction or a similar field.
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
**Attributes**:
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Knowledge of construction terminology is an advantage but not required.
