**Responsibilities**
- Defines, maintains and implements proper HR controls and procedures, considering, but not only:

- integration,
- training and Skills Development Plan,
- monthly payrolls (Block5,6,7, TEEPSA and Expatriates), Tax certificates and EMP501 Recon
- vacations, absences, dismisses,
- Expatriates allowances as per instruction and Personal Income Tax (registration & reporting).
- Ensure legal compliance with South African Labour regulations,
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements, storing confidential documents in both electronic and paper formats,
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity,
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise,
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances,
- Develop and implement HR strategies, systems, tactics, policies, procedures and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy,
- Implements corporate policies and campaigns
- Provide decision support through HR metrics and KPI (bi-annual performance appraisal & annual performance contracting)
- Contractors reporting and maintenance of Contractors
- Determination of NP Hays levels for local staffing and benchmark of salaries to market (annually)
- Validation of Payrolls, advise amendments (increases, bonuses, medical) etc.to service provider leave records.
- Annual Brokering exercise for Employee Risk Benefits
- Support mobilization (incoming) & Demobilization (outgoing expatriates) through oversight of General Services Team in relation to visas, accommodation leases, vehicle leases, Hotels, flights, schooling for expatriates etc. in accordance with instruction and RAMPI.
- Renewal of temporary contracting and preparation of all amendments to employee contracts consistent with South African legislation

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- BSc / MSC in HR, Administration, or related areas;
- 5-8 years proven work experience as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or HR Officer
- Thorough knowledge of labor legislation, disciplinary procedures, and HR policies and procedures
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
- HR Credentials
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent people management skills
- Analytical and goal oriented;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R35,000.00 - R50,000.00 per month
