Our client in the Financial Wealth Management Services industry is currently looking for **Financial Controllers**, in Bryanston.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, review and report of monthly management accounts.
- Capturing of monthly general journals.
- Reconciliation of ledger accounts.
- Analysis of monthly variances.
- Processing payroll journals.
- Management of revenue and expense accruals/provisions.
- Processing of fair value of investments.
- Recovery of expenses.
- Loan amortizations and capturing of interest.
- Revaluation of foreign currency exchange translations.
- Review of intercompany loan balancing.
- Fee calculations.
- Preparation and review of monthly management accounts i.e., income statement, balance sheet, trial balance and relevant notes.
- Report monthly management accounts.
- Management of debtors age analysis:

- Raising and collection of all revenue streams. Implementing revenue collection process.
- Providing weekly status updates on customer age analysis and collections.
- Forecast cash inflow from debtors.
- Monthly Revenue Billing:

- Capturing of high volumes of Sales Invoices in various foreign currency, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the sales.
- Issuing of customer statements.
- Verification of revenue being raised.
- Perform a variance analysis and reporting on revenue movement.
- Allocate revenue to the correct period (income received in advance, deferred revenue)
- Debtors’ collection:

- Reporting on weekly debtors age analysis.
- Implementing and maintenance of an efficient and effective collection process.
- Follow up on outstanding Debtors.
- Dealing with Customer queries/internal Queries.
- Creating good customer relationships.
- Forecast cash inflow from debtors.
- Reconciliations:

- Liaising with Senior Bookkeeper to ensure the correct allocations of cashbooks is processed.
- Weekly Customer reconciliations.
- Confirmation of debtor’s balances on a quarterly basis.
- Output VAT to revenue recon.
- Management of creditors age analysis:

- Overseeing the raising and payment of all supplier invoices.
- Overseeing supplier payment process.
- Overseeing weekly status updates on supplier age analysis and payments.
- Overseeing forecast cash outflows from suppliers.
- External audit:

- Preparation of necessary documents required for the external audit.
- Facilitate the audit process in collaboration with the rest of the finance department.
- Attending to all audit queries.
- Statutory reporting.
- Recon submission and payment of the following:

- VAT.
- Income tax, Provisional tax.
- IT14SD and other SARS queries FSCA reporting of the following:

- Liquidity calculation.
- Capital adequacy requirement.
- Assets under management (AUM) reporting.
- Commission calculations for Wealth Managers:

- Management of the day-to-day commission allocation process.
- Calculation of quarterly commission:

- Monthly payroll:

- Processing of monthly payroll payments and quarterly bonus and commission payments.
- Other:

- Implementing and monitoring internal controls in Finance Perform adhoc tasks delegated by the Group Financial Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 - 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in the Financial Services industry with management experience.
- Post graduate qualification in Accounting or relevant qualification. Registered with a professional accounting body (SAICA, CIMA, SAIPA)
- Proficiency in Xero.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Overall positive attitude and willingness to provide help to the entire team when needed.

**Remuneration**:

- R400 000 - R650 000 per annum.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R400,000.00 - R650,000.00 per year
