Time & Attendance Superintendent

Manage the implementation and effective operation of the T&A system. Processes and procedures to increase operational efficiencies.
- Ensure system is developed, implemented and maintained through the mine’s business solution steering committee. Ensure alignment and/or integration of HRIMS with Payroll, HRD and other relevant internal IT systems and manage data integrity.
- Ensure that T&A systems functionalities relevant to health and safety of all employees are activated on the system (zoning, shift clearance, on-shift report, work schedules, short & long shift report).
- Ensure alignment of relevant policies, procedures and practices with related legislation and best practice.
- Ensure timeous and accurate reporting pertaining to relevant legislation, as well as operational and corporate Office requirements.
- Evaluate T&A system on an ongoing basis and recommend optimizations / enhancements where necessary.
- Ensure HRIS system and user support.
- Ensure that T&A reports are accurate and re Ensure audits are conducted on SACO to ensure consistencyliable.
- Automate the process of timekeeping as far as possible and ensure that all manual adjustments occur based on valid, authorized paperwork.
- Ensure audits are conducted on SACO to ensure consistency.
- Extracting data from SACO and manipulation data in MS Excel.
- Compilation of reports on an ad hoc basis.
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Degree or Technikon Diploma in Human Resources
- Diploma in Business Information Technology (Advantageous)
- 5 Years’ extensive, practical experience as a Generalist and System Implementation in a mining environment
- 5 years HR Management experience on management level within the Mining Industry
- 2 to 3 Years’ experience in compliance and Human Resources reporting
- Experience in SACO & SAGE 300 Time and Attendance System and processes
- Valid Certificate of Fitness
- Valid Driver’s License
