You will be employed by CTRL LOGISTIX (PTY) LTD, which is contracted to provide Logistics and Warehouse services to a well-established (Over 30 years old) Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Company supplying products to leading retailers and wholesalers throughout South Africa.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- Coordinate the receiving and despatch of raw materials, packaging and finished goods and ensuring that all SOPS are followed precisely and where SOPS are missing to create them for every task.
- Support of other departments, finding best solution, for all problems related to inventory, warehousing, inbound and outbound.
- Be responsible for managing internal and external transport.
- Maintenance and management of infrastructures and all operations equipment.
- Manage materials handling from the point of receipt to delivery to customer, to meet customer expectations in terms of timing and quality and business requirements.
- Create and maintain standard work, train and share company process and rules to staff.
- Manage the efficient running of the Company’s warehousing facilities, determining stock layout, product distribution and liaising with Commercial & Sales resources.
- To carry out inventory accuracy duties in line with the requirements of the business. (Cycle counts and spot checks)
- Managing and solving all issues, writing and managing departmental procedures and processes. Continuous improvement through measures and data analysis.
- To provide professional departmental leadership, encompassing all aspects of people management and development including discipline in line with Company procedures
- Able to implement changes such as Warehouse and Accounting Management Systems when required.

**KPIs.**
- To participate fully in monthly reviews, team meetings etc. and take responsibility for actions agreed.
- To maintain and develop good inter department relations and communications.
- To arrange stock takes when needed.
- To encourage and pursue a policy of continuous improvement and that department procedures and work instructions are maintained, updated when necessary and adhered to.
- To adhere to accounting procedures and where appropriate manage and monitor expenditure under your control.
- Act as Health & Safety officer the business ensuring all procedures are implemented and maintained ensuring BPSA meets legal and group requirements create a culture of Health and Safety compliance
- To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time by your manager or Senior management team.

In addition to Main Duties and Responsibilities, every employee has overall responsibility for:

- Taking reasonable care for your own Health and Safety and the Health and Safety of others who may be affected by your actions.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant Quality standards/procedures in your area. This includes reporting any deviations from these standards/procedures, completing corrective actions and making recommendations to prevent similar deviations in the future.
- Being able to work without constant supervision from management and able to drive processes on their own.

Skills, knowledge and experience required for the role
- Good knowledge of Sage Evolution Accounting or similar programme, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word, Warehouse Management System programmes.
- Previous proven relevant logistics and/or supply chain experience working within a high
- volume environment (7-10 years)
- A sound knowledge of warehousing and materials handling
- Preferably hold a professional logistics/supply chain qualification.
- Proven experience of managing teams in a logistics environment
- Interpersonal, management and motivational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial awareness and able to work with and contribute to the senior management team.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience of producing and implementing effective recommendations.
- Able to make decisions in a pressured environment
- Forklift license an advantage

You will have to provide contactable references that are still currently employed at your place of previous employment that you reported directly to.

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R40,000.00 per month

- Chloorkop, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
