Logistics Coordinator

**_Job purpose_**

The purpose of a Logistics Coordinator is to coordinate day-to-day operations and maintain compliance with the dispatch areas.

**_ Job objectives and Functions_**
- ** Frontline collections**
- Order dispatching to clients.
- Managing order escalations.
- Provide in-person customer service when required.
- ** Delivery Dispatch**
- Dispatching orders to 3PL.
- Follow up with 3PL to determine accurate ETA.
- Resolve all 3PL exceptions.
- Managing delivery escalations.
- Prepare and manage PCP (pack, container, picking), open work, PND (pick and drop location), invoice, bad address, and exceptions reports.
- Managing and execution of import/export documents and requirements.
- Maintain relationship with third party logistics partner and clients.
- ** Cancellation and stock control**
- Monitoring and moving of cancelled orders in logistics location.
- Daily spot checks.
- Monthly count and reconciliation of orders in locations.
- Conduct RCA (root cause analysis) of missing or displaced stock.
- ** Customer service**
- Assist in the management of customer service in logistics.
- Resolve customer queries.
- ** Project planning**
- Plan and coordinate assigned forward logistics projects.
- Complete and file all required documents.
- Ship and track final products to the clients’ requirements.
- ** People Management**
- Schedule logistics team.
- ** Route planning**
- Confirmation of next-day shipments.
- Plan optimised route for delivery of shipments.
- Prepare delivery notes.
- Assign deliveries to Barron driver.
- Manage delivery exceptions.
- ** Health and safety**
- Responsible for ensuring that health and safety policies are adhered to.
- ** Housekeeping**
- Organize and file department documents.
- Accountable for practicing basic housekeeping principles to ensure that workstations are tidy.
