**Core Responsibilities**:

- Managing of all Staff and Staff duties in the company department both in South Africa and Botswana (Pay, productivity, Fuel consumption for drivers etc.)
- HR management (Pay queries, Disciplinaries, Meetings, Leave) Both office staff and drivers
- Prepare and maintain statistics (SLA, Production, Fuel, company stats, Financial statistics, company statistics, Adhoc statistics, Weekly statistics)
- Preparation and full administration function of board packs for reporting purposes at EXCO level.
- Implementing and drawing up of Policies and Procedures
- Managing Customer service levels (Monthly meetings with clients etc.)
- Monthly operations and technical presentations on executive level
- Prepare Flash reports for company contract (Weekly)
- Sub-contractor management (daily preparation of POs, maintenance of database etc.)
- Contract budgeting(Average turn-over R52million) - set up budgets and maintaining thereof
- Maintenance and tyre management.
- Fleet management and fuel management (Wash and Check bay, Services, Permits and licenses)
- Financial management (Payments, POD submitting, Quotes, yearly budgets etc.)
- Running and maintaining of costings
- Tracking reports: managing of drivers behaviour
- Route cause investigations (accident and incident)

**Inherent Duties**:

**Key Performance Areas**:

- KPIs met by all staff, departmental targets and mandates met.
- Salary requisitions submitted on or before 10th, all queries address effectively, employees disciplined as and when required, leave forms submitted to HR timeously.
- All necessary statistics prepared accurately and submitted as and when required.
- Exco reports submitted as and when required.
- Policies and procedures kept relevant and current. All policies and procedures followed.
- Customer satisfaction attained.
- Effective maintenance of departmental HSSE (RCIs submitted and attended to timeously, mínimal accidents)
- company flash report prepared and submitted Weekly.
- POs prepared and submitted to sub-contractors, database up to date.
- Fleet clean at all times, permit valid at all times, fleet services as and when required
- All Payments made timeously, POD submitted timeously, Quotes prepared and sent timeously, yearly budget prepared and submitted timeously
- Consistently trailing and implementation of improvement to all operations as the business evolve.**Inherent Requirements**

**Knowledge and Experience Required**:

- A Diploma or Degree (Logistics or Transport related)
- Transport Diploma advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years company/ transport or related experience
- Managerial experience including management of Industrial Relations matters.
- Interpersonal and staff supervisory skills.
- Familiar with Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
- Ability to communicate at various levels within the organization and at various levels in external companies/organizations/government.
- Customer Service Orientated and the ability to resolve matters and find solutions.
