As Digital Business Support Partner you will allocate the majority of your time towards Business Partnering with the Commercial Marketing teams, getting results around Omnichannel, Marketing Campaigns, Social Media, Data & Analytics and be instrumental in bridging the gap between IT and the Business teams.

**JOB ROLE**

The role will drive common visions, capability and standardisation across data analytics, data governance, tools, data operations, omnichannel, marketing initiatives, social media and other key business priority projects.

This role is responsible for providing technical capabilities and ownership of the African Cluster, support and direction, ownership of data, marketing, automation and omnichannel initiatives across the African Cluster. The role will need to understand current marketing initiatives, future state digital objectives, data acquisition, automation lifecycle and analysis tools and processes and bring expertise to improve, advance and where vital, simplify.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Central Coordination**
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with the Head of IT and African Cluster SLT. Contribute to the definition and delivery of strategy and Market and Region solutions.
- Assess, prioritise and optimally communicate customer needs, and initiate projects in partnership with the local IT Teams.
- Encourage proactive collaboration and communication between SA and SSA as well as across marketing teams (and beyond) to ensure identification of standard methodologies and realise alignments.

**Understand, Identify, Solve and Improve**
- Work with the Market IT teams and businesses to understand their current digital and data capabilities, gaps and challenges.
- Understand HCP and Patient marketing initiatives and data use cases and associated compliance and governance challenges.
- Understand differences and similarities between Commercial and Medical digital initiatives and ensure harmonies can be realised where possible and separation maintained where necessary.
- Lead the proactive identification of digital and data opportunities for innovative solutions for Patients, HCPs and internal customer issues/challenges.

**Automation, Analytics and Insights**
- Engage with the Regional Analytics and Insights team to understand their directions and capabilities and bring this knowledge to the African Cluster.
- Understand the capabilities, strategies, needs and challenges that the African Cluster Markets have and bring to bear knowledge of other markets, regional capabilities and personal experience and relationships to help them deliver objectives.
- Understand Region level analytics and reporting needs and propose and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Engage with key external partners to identify innovative data solutions across any and all technologies and channels that could bring short-, medium
- or long-term benefits to the Region.
- Handle workflow automation requirements from the cluster to meet business objectives, with a focus on simplifying business processes where possible.

**Governance and Compliance**
- Maintain a close relationship with the Regional IT Data and Information Governance team, Local Privacy and Compliance functions and other functions that have a key role in the good management of data and the data lifecycle.
