KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
To manage the Mine Planning function:
- Identification, development, deployment and utilisation of technical resources and staff.
- Manage and lead personnel To ensure subordinates performance management by:
- Identify training and development needs
- Improving efficiencies through courses, mentoring and coaching. To manage continuity of the Planning function:
- Ensure that leaves etc. are coordinated and assist where needed.
- Optimisation of Business Plan, Five Year and Life of Mine Plans.
- Analyse “What if” scenarios and ensure optimal mineral resource utilisation. Reporting on business plan, monthly short-term plans and daily reporting. Shaft specific mining projects
- Active participation in project planning and monitoring. To manage the transformation action plan
- Ensure that targets are met through communication and participation in the Marula transformation program To ensure standardisation in planning
- Ensure adherence to Marula Best Practice and COP’s Develop standards where required
- To ensure involvement in industry forums, etc., as required
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Isando, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
