**What You Will Do**

The Project Planner is responsible for creating, updating, and coordinating project activity schedules for HVAC Projects. Creates resource usage models and predictions with an intent to do resource leveling on our projects. Works closely with the Project Managers and team leaders to build, evaluate and optimize project schedules (from project initiation to project close-out).

**How You Will Do It**

The Project Planner will participate within a cross-functional team environment in the development and oversight of equipment supply, installation and commissioning related project schedules. Once the schedules are developed, the Project Planner is to ensure that they are updated on a minimum of “once per week” with input from all stakeholders. Weekly reports (and meetings) to be distributed to the Operations Project Manager for the Program. The Project Scheduler will also be required to interface with the Project Finance Department to ensure that the project cash flows are integrated with the Project Managers project activity schedule. When the Project Planner updates the schedules, Project Finance must be triggered by the Project Planer to re forecast/adjust the project cash-flows. Weekly cash flow reports to be submitted once a week with the project schedule weekly reports to the Operations Project Manager.

**What We Look For**

**Required**
- Bachelor's degree in project management, or in a related field.
- Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP) will be advantageous.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a project planner in a related industry.
- Advanced proficiency in project scheduling software, such as MS Projects.
- Extensive experience in schedule planning and management.
- In-depth knowledge of the scope of projects within the industry.
- Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
- Ability to keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

**Preferred**
- 3 years of experience using “MS projects”
- Experience within the HVAC industry
